Just wanted to update and say hello to everyone. I feel like my head has been spinning lately as my body is moving at a faster pace than it has in awhile! (let's say 3 years and 3 months as that's how long it's been since I worked "full time" although I will argue that being a stay-at-home mom is harder than ANY "full time" job!) Anywho.....I will now be working 6 days a week, all the while raising my 2 little ducklings. I know, I'm crazy! And Marty is the first to tell me to give something up....not doing this all because we HAVE to, just cause I want to! I'll try it for a couple of months and see, but I'm planning on keeping this schedule at least through this school year. Here's how my "average" week will go: Monday-day of rest (Ha!) or as my friend, Kimberly said, that's "her" day; Tuesday-Friends In Christ (FIC) preschool with Maddie and Isaac in tow from 8:30-2:30; Wednesday-Stonebriar Church (SCC) childcare with Maddie and Isaac again from 9-12; Thursday-FIC w/M & I from 8:30-2:30; Friday-SCC w/M & I from 9-12; Saturdays-old faithful job at vet clinic (without M & I) 7:30-1:30; and last but and least is Sunday-SCC nursery counter with M & I and whole family there 10:45-12:45! Whew!!! I told you I'm crazy! So, this is how it will pan out for now, keeping in mind we live in Plano and 2 of the jobs are north in Frisco and 1 is south in Dallas! I really have a hard time saying no, I've recently learned, but I think it will all pan out. *fingers crossed* If not, well, gotta ask the Lord to show me which one needs to be given up first. Each of these jobs offers me something unique and good. I have made friends at all of them that I would be sad to not be able to see on a weekly basis. Thus, the reason I work all of them! :)
On another note, I met Maddie and Isaac's teachers yesterday at the training FIC offers. Isaac will have Ms. Pat who is a sweetheart 76 year old lady who does the job just to love on those babies! Precious! And Maddie's teacher is Ms. Michell who seems really easygoing (like me) and is ready to take on Maddie and her big personality! I know Maddie will feel welcomed by her and find her sweet and caring as I did. I will post pictures of the first day, which will be Tuesday, 9/2, when I get them. I can't wait! I will be teaching 2 year olds and we have 11 in our class! YIKES!!! :) Luckily, I have a co-teacher that's done this for 3 years. I am excited to get the school year going. Should be an adventure!
Marty is being a dear husband and friend to me through all of this and I can only praise God for that. He is such a faithful and caring person that has stuck by me whatever I choose to take on. Bless his heart! ;) This morning he got up with the kids and let me sleep in (he didn't have to be at work until 1). When I managed to pull myself out of bed, I found him cleaning the refrigerator! Gees! Dear Lord, what did I do to deserve such a wonderful husband? I know I am fortunate to have someone like him. I just pray he sticks by my crazy self and all the adventures I choose to endeavor! He's a keeper to say the least! LOVE YOU BABE!
I promise to update with pictures soon. We are having some glitches with our computer recognizing our camera lately, so hope it works out soon. Gotta get some posted of the first day of school.

Jeremiah 29:11
This is Maddie as a baby.Hello all! Sorry I've been MIA lately. We've had a lot going on and haven't had much time to sit at the computer. I've been reading a friend's blog daily (Erica) and she is so good at telling her family stories and somehow turning them into a learning experience from God. It's amazing! It made me reflect onto my own blog and the posts I put on here and who they actually reach and who actually reads them and could potentially get something out of them. With that being said, I wanted to offer a bit of encouragement to those who are reading and going through some struggles. I have many, many friends and family members right this very moment going through some tough times that they don't have any answers to. I am speaking to you when I say that I love you and am here to offer you prayers and support. I truly love each and every one of you and hope you know the Lord as I do and know that He will deliver you from your trials you are facing, whatever they may be. It's so easy to say, and so hard to do, but cast your cares upon Him. That is exactly what He wants us to do. To explain what I'm saying, I'll offer you a bit of a personal story. When Marty and I started trying to get pregnant for the very first time, we like a lot of people, just assumed it would come easily. Well, it didn't. We both got discouraged and wanted to be able to fix it on our own. Over the course of 3 years, we both had gone through extensive testing and doctor's visits and I through some super expensive medicines. When I actually felt defeated and had given up, which is just what our Father was waiting for, that's when I got pregnant!!!! AMAZING!!! To think that all of this time, all I had to do was give the situation over to him and I would be granted my heart's desire! Wow, talk about humbling! And now, 6 years and 2 kids later.... I'm still learning how to give my worries and struggles to Him. There's a verse that comes to mind here, "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11. Powerful words! Basically, when you see no end, God already knows it and is waiting for you at the other side!
