Hey guys! It's me again....a year and a half later from the last post! I was browsing around on the computer while Marty was watching TV tonight and thought, I'm gonna update my blog. I want to be better at posting on here this year. I still think it's much better for keeping in touch with friends and family than Facebook, even though it's much easier to just post on FB. We've been having problems with our photos loading onto the computer lately, so I can't figure out how to upload some new photos on here tonight. I will mess around with the external hard drive and try to get them loaded back on our computer hopefully sometime this week.
Things that have been going on with us lately: I'm still working at the preschool 5 days a week. I enjoy it for the most part. There are some things that bug me, but I'm happy to have good work hours, bring Isaac to work with me, and be able to be home with Madeline when she's done with school.
Marty is still working at Lacoste. He's survived yet another retail holiday season! It's hard not having him around during the holidays, but I've gotten used to it since this is all he's done since we've been married!
Madeline started Kindergarten this school year. She's loving every minute of it, of course! She is definitely our social butterfly!!! I remember talking to my boss at the preschool last year saying how I was worried about her going to a place she's never been and not knowing anyone there and my boss' response was, "Please...that girl will know everyone from the principal to the janitor within her first month!" And I have found that to be true! Her principal has told me that she always enjoys running into Madeline around the school because she always has a big hug and a smile for her! That's my girl!!! ;)
Isaac turned 3 back in November. He goes to preschool with me 5 days a week. He has THE BEST teachers in his 2's class. They are great and he often talks about "Ms. Wori" (Ms. Lori) and "Ms. Chudi" (Ms. Trudi). They seem to be enjoy having him in their class too, which is nice. They "get" his quirky little personality. He's quite the stinker when I'm around for some reason, but as soon as he goes into class, he's a new little boy! The other day, Ms. Lori called me to peek into their class at Isaac. He had stacked the legos high and was using it as a microphone and singing, "Me a rock star, yeah, yeah!" Then he told Ms. Lori to "play the drums," which she did! :) Silly little dude!
Well, that about sums up what's been going on with us lately. We've moved into a new house, which we had built from November to April last year. I'll post pics of it sooner or later...depending on when I can get the pics loaded. Don't give up on me yet. :)
